Iraqi diplomat gave U.S. prewar WMD details
This should make you mad. Remember people, we impeached a president for lying about a blowjob. Keep that in mind.

I found this over all the Onion.com. Enjoy!
More than 60,000 urgently needed Bibles arrived to allay suffering throughout the famine-stricken nation of Niger Friday, in one of the largest humanitarian-relief operations ever attempted by a Christian ministry.
Last night I took my Brown Sr. test. My next belt is now Black. Needless to say, I am very sore today. After doing all of my kicking combinations, all my forms, and my nunchakus, sais, and bo staff, I had to spar. First it was one-on-one. That was fun. Then is was three-on-one. That was not fun. But I stood my ground and did my best. I did ok i.e. I survived. I have a lot of work to do before I am ready for my black belt test though. I have some videos my wife took. Here are some highlights:
In this one, I am the one with the black pants.
In the one, I am getting my ass beat by three guys: A red belt, a blue belt and a VERY LARGE yellow belt. It was my last fight of the night.
This guy just realized that one of his childhood memories is plain creepy in hindisight. After reading his post, I tend to agree with him.
Remember Webster, that sitcom from the mid-80’s? Had an adorable black kid adopted by white parents, basically just a rip-off of Different Strokes? Even though it sucked I always watched as as kid and remember it being...I don’t know, cute. Harmless. The kind of fluff that I loved to zone out on at the time. Anyway, I found a description of the show on Wikipedia and it turns out that the series was a bit more...shall we say nuanced...than I had realized.
Here is the first poll out on censuring or impeaching the president. Interesting results.
Question: Why does Karl Rove still hold a clearance?
Scooter Libby violated his SF 312 by disclosing classified information. Further, so far as we know publicly, he did not follow his affirmative duty to turn in Karl Rove nor himself for doing this—with Matt Cooper, with Robert Novak, with Judy Miller, and with who knows which other journalists about town as the pushback on Joe and Valerie Wilson was in full swing.
And while we’re talking about it, Karl Rove, as far as we know publicly, failed to do the same. Why is it that Karl Rove still has his high level security clearance? THAT is a question that journalists ought to be repeatedly asking until this Administration gives an answer—since Karl has admitted to revealing Valerie Wilson’s job to Matt Cooper and Bob Novak, his clearance, had he been treated like any other governmental employee or any other person in this nation who holds such a clearance, would have been immediately suspended, pending investigation, and likely yanked altogether once his admissions were confirmed.
Yet there he sits, with who knows how much classified information moving across his desk, his access intact. The Bush Administration consistently brings up legal violations in others, but when the laws are to be applied to them, it’s “we don’t have to follow the rules—those are for little people."
Friday is my Brown Senior test for Tae Kwon Do. I am sweating it, but probably shouldn’t be. I will most likely be very sore on Saturday morning.
I don’t how many of you shop at Walmart, but this may be useful to know. I am posting this to you to warn you of something that happened to me, as I have become a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. This happened to me at Walmart in Springfield and it could happen to you. Here’s how the scam works:
Two good-looking 18-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping in the trunk. They both start wiping your windows with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy t-shirts. It will be impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them payment, they say ‘No’ and instead ask you for a ride to another store.
You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral sex on you, while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen last Tuesday, Wednesday, twice on Thursday, again on Saturday, and also yesterday.
This is sick. Give these bastards a trial, find them guilty and then shoot them. Or better yet, release them into general population of a federal prison. They will learn the true meaning of “unwanted sexual advance.”
Charges were announced Wednesday against 27 people in the United States, Canada, Australia and Great Britain in connection with an Internet chat room allegedly used to trade child porn and view real-time child molestation.
Here is a great article on a very possible presidential candidate. Sen. Brownback is sort of nuts, IMNSHO.
In [Brownback’s] dream America, the one he believes both the Bible and the Constitution promise, the state will simply wither away. In its place will be a country so suffused with God and the free market that the social fabric of the last hundred years—schools, Social Security, welfare—will be privatized or simply done away with. There will be no abortions; sex will be confined to heterosexual marriage. Men will lead families, mothers will tend children, and big business and the church will take care of all.
Back in 1994, when Brownback came to Congress as a freshman, he was so contemptuous of federal authority that he refused at first to sign the Contract With America, Newt Gingrich’s right-wing manifesto—not because it was too radical but because it was too tame. Republicans shouldn’t just reform big government, Brownback insisted—they should eliminate it. He immediately proposed abolishing the departments of education, energy and commerce. His proposals failed—but they quickly made him one of the right’s rising stars. Two years later, running to the right of Bob Dole’s chosen successor, he was elected to the Senate.
Here are questions that AlterNet posed to CNN (in leiu of an interview). CNN’s answers will be posted when they are received. Good questions (although admitted a little biased in their tone).
1. Editors at the New York Times and the Washington Post have apologized for their Iraq war coverage and admitted it was not critical enough, thus acknowledging that their institutions made mistakes in coverage. So have such broadcast network news presidents as ABC’s David Westin and Andrew Heyward, your former boss at CBS. Isn’t it time for cable networks such as your own to offer a public reappraisal of the war coverage? If CNN does so, what form will it take? How do you as CNN’s chief assess the network’s coverage of the runup to the war, and the war itself? What would you have done differently?
Umm...this is wrong. I know I shouldn’t be laughing, but OMG! This is wrong and I am a horrible person.
The reigning Miss Deaf Texas died after being struck by a train, officials said. Tara Rose McAvoy, 18, was walking Monday near railroad tracks when she was struck by a Union Pacific train, authorities said.
